We know that we are truly saved and as a sincere devotee, we must please GOD. Here are seven ways to please GOD.
1. We please GOD when we love Him:
JESUS said that first and great commandment every devotee should follow is, ‘’ you shall love the Lord your GOD with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind” (Matthew 22:37).
2. When we study His Word and pray to Him.
GOD speaks to us through his Word. He is pleased when we take time to read His Word and pray to Him.
‘’If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you.ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you’’ (St. John 15:7).
3. When we obey Him.
The Bible says, ‘’ this is the love of GOD, that we keep His commandments’’ (1 John 5:3).
4. We please GOD when we trust Him.
GOD takes pleasure in those who trust Him.—those who expect Him to be loving and kind.
‘’The Lord taketh pleasure in them that fear Him, in those that hope in His mercy’’ (Psalms147:11).
5. When we thank Him.
‘’In everything give thanks, for this is the will of GOD in Christ Jesus for you’’ (1Thessalonians 5:18).
6. We please GOD when we learn more about the Lord Jesus.
The Bible says, ‘’Glow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ’’ (2 Peter3:18).
7. We please GOD when we are faithful in attending church together (Hebrews 1o:25).
We need the fellowship of other Christians.
GOD sees your heart and not your mind. He knows everything regarding our thoughts, speech and our behavior. We can deceive human beings but not GOD.As you read your Bible, you will discover further more ways to please GOD, the Almighty.
